DUNS / UEI
Identifier numbers used to register entities for federal contracting.
The DUNS Number, formerly required for federal contractors, has been replaced by the Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) issued through SAM.gov. The UEI is required to register an entity in SAM and to receive federal contracts or grants.
